Portugal Knocked out, Spain through to the Last 8

Yet another lack lustrous performance by Chritiano Ronaldo and Portuguese dreams were shattered, as Spain clinched a good encounter that just saw one Goal being scored by Spain. The match in itself was hyped much beyond expectations. Some football fans even claimed that it was way too early for both teams to meet before quarter finals. This was mainly because both the teams have a great fan following all across the world. Moreover, stars like Christiano Ronaldo and David Villa increased the excitement several folds.
