Indian Out of T20 WC

You can not have all the things all the times, Specially when they are Priceless. The Statement turned out apt for the defending champions of the World Cup T20 who were thrashed by England in a Do or Die game at the Oval. This was a must win game for India, who were earlier beaten by the West Indies in their first encounter of the Super Eights. The match started with packed crowds with both England and India charged up for the Big day. India who were fielding first bowled quite well in the initial overs and it was the IPL sensation RP Singh who got the first breakthrough by claiming Luke right in his very first over.
However, it was the partnership between KP and Bopara, that turned it around for England. The partnership collected some quick runs and England were looking like projecting around 180 on the board. However India came back strongly thanks to some good bowling by Jadeja. India were right on track as Harbhajan claimed back to back wickets in his last over. England got to 153, thanks to ten wides bowled by Bhajji, who still had 3 wickets for 30 runs.
England were hoping that they could have defended the small total against the champions who boast of a talented and a very strong batting line up. India started slowly and lost Rohit Sharma early. England screwed up Indian batsman with a consistent short pitch stuff. Soon after Rohit, Raina fell to another short pitch delivery from the fiery Sidebottom. Dhoni made a strange decision to send Jadeja up the order. Jadeja was not able to capitalise to the opportunity that was given to him, and played very slowly for his 27. This again turned out to be turning point for the match.
The wicket led to a downfall and it was left for Yusuf Pathan and MSD to steer India through. However it was all over in the 20th over and India could only manage 150 runs. The shocking exit of India has stunned Indian Supporters, who were hoping their team to do well after such a good performance in the last year or so. Meanwhile, MSD has taken the defeat as a joint responsibility of the team and has promised to come back with a bang in the next World Cup.
